Fine dining you can feel at home in.

Atlanta’s choice for prime cuts with a personal touch.

Tucked into the Brookhaven community, ARNETTE’S Chop Shop reimagines the classic American steakhouse with a modern, welcoming edge. Opened in 2018 by restaurateur Michel Arnette, the concept blends industrial-modern design, top-tier farm-to-table ingredients, and a hospitality-first mindset. Since its debut, Arnette’s has become a destination for both discerning steak lovers and those seeking a fresh, approachable take on fine dining—luxury without pretense, where every guest feels at home.

Housed in a reclaimed warehouse, the restaurant’s design reflects a refined yet soulful energy. The main dining room is anchored by custom wood-and-leather seating and a striking 15-foot longhorn painting by artist Carrie Penley. Guests can dine beside the open kitchen, where a wood-burning hearth and charbroiler add warmth and theater to every meal. Upstairs, a rock‑and‑roll‑inspired bar with low ceilings, portraits of iconic musicians, and an open-air lanai creates an intimate yet elevated hideaway for cocktails, conversation, and curated community events like the beloved Live on the Lanai music series. Members of the exclusive Knife Club enjoy an extra touch of personalization with custom-engraved knives presented tableside each visit.

Guiding the kitchen is Chef Stephen Herman, whose innovative approach to modern American cuisine combines a reverence for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients with subtle Southern influences. A Knoxville native, Herman discovered his love for cooking at an early age, inspired by the artistry of his mother, an exceptional baker. His thoughtful style shines through in a menu that balances USDA Prime steakhouse classics with creative, flavor-forward dishes that celebrate the region’s bounty. Chef Stephen’s passion and culinary integrity have made Arnette’s a true haven for extraordinary cuisine.

Every detail—from the plating to the playlist—is thoughtfully curated to deliver high-end hospitality without pretense. Recognized as one of Atlanta’s best steakhouses, Arnette’s is more than a place for exceptional food; it’s a space where elegance meets edge, and every guest feels at home.
